Lastly Do you think this is a successful film??? Please Help!!!!!!! Thankyou Shakespeare's text begins with a spoken "prologue;" in a modern telling of the story, such an antiquated theatrical device wouldn't have any real place. So, Luhrmann delivers this necessary exposition into a news item on a television broadcast. Was the film successful? With ME, it sure was. I'm generally not a fan of high-concept Shakespearean productions, but this one won me over. I felt that all of Luhrmann's decisions were well thought-out, and, most importantly, were all designed to tell this story in a compelling manner. I thoroughly enjoyed it. i like it i think the tv is ment to show how modern it is, and it woould beon the news cus both of there familys were famous I hated the movie with a passion! He purposely filmed the movie in an updated setting so it's not surprising the TV is there! It did terrific in theatres though... |
