How do I discover if I'm good at acting?

Question:Hi James, to start with join an amateur drama group. Try to get involved in all aspects of the production. Volunteer to help raise funds etc. Remember there are no small parts, and if you enjoy it and want to keep going enroll in an acting course. Best of luck. Acting is reacting.

easiest way to tell

Ask your family and friends and if they keep pertending tell them you want the truth because you wwant to know if you can seriously become an actor if you are still at school, or go to a drama class and ask the teacher if you are good, if not and you really want to be an actor, ask for lessons, if you are still at school ask a drama teacher. Or make your friends or family film you or film yourself, see how good you are

try filming yourself but if your still not sure.....
just preform a little play in a small group of people but make sure they will give you their honest opinion

ok a good thing to do make up a really good dramatic lie and see if you can fool others. I am so good at that

Join a drama group and take it from there. One thing leads to another. Enjoy yourself!

Take an acting class. It is a lot of fun, and you get the one-on-one feedback you need to discover if it is a path for you.

if you dont have any moral issues with this, one of the most interesting ways to test your acting ability can be to adopt another persona while meeting new people, or tell stories that never happened and see how well you can convince people these things happened.

if its people who you have never met before and will probably never see again, then this is a great test and excersize for your acting and improvisational abilities, and its pretty freaking fun.

but again this can bite you in the *** if your bad at it and i wouldnt recommend it if you dont like to deceive (but that, in a way, is all acting is when it comes down to it)

Depends how old you are, if you are young ask your mum, if your older ask your girlfriend, older still ask your wife, they will normally give you a srtaight and honest answer!!!!

Join a drama group and see if they offer you any parts. Do them as well as you can. If they don't ask you again try to get some training and improve your standard. The only way you will know is the effect that you have on others. Good Luck.
