I really want to be an actor?

Question:i'm a 15 year old boy and it is my dream to become a movie star and it's the only thing I can imagine myself doing! I live in england. Should I join the National Youth theatre? Should I seek out an agent? How do you find one?

You should definetely join the National Youth Theatre...i was checking out their website today and i was very keen on joining. I love Theatre and since im going to be busy with uni i was going to join a course for my spare time...however, its in England and im in Scotland so its quite a disappointment! You can join though...so have a loot at their website!

Both are good ideas.

But if you're under 18 you have to have things in place or just do school drama.

Fulltime parent with transporation willing to take you and them to Los Angeles or Toronto for an audition on YOUR OWN NICKEL no job warranty

Willing to stay with you on the set

Have the money to buy the union card ($2,500 in one payment)

If you don't have that in place keep doing high school drama until you're 18 and then jump into the deep end and find out why people become Lawyers and Doctors.
