Ive got a stand up gig soon... help?

Question:Ive got a stand up comedy gig in a month. it is my first stand up gig (ive done a fair bit of imporv so im not afraid of the crowd)

I just dont know what people will laugh at.

I'd talk about lying in a field of orange trees and clover near a bee hive with a magnifing glass to try and discover the cure to bee viruses because you are addicted to honey, and are afraid all the bees are either going to die (or become Africanized and too violent to harvest from).

I guarantee this is an original idea from me, and you have my premission to use it and put your own spin on it.

All I ask is a 10% cut on any royalties from sound recordings or videos sold. You keep all the profits from live performances. Deal?

how you had to ask ppl online to help you with your act :)

you can use my line that i always use to crack up the whole audiance.

Talk about getting a girl in the back seat of your car, and how your about to oraly fixate her... then break out with the punch line for the whole thing

Go up there completely un-prepared.

whatever means to most to you. don't create an act about what you think other people will think is funny, make it about what you find funny and important.

if what you're doing has to meaning to you, you're not going to be completely committed to doing it.

talking about their own race and other races! Its bad but funny especially when people know it true!

Talk about your past relationships, and like bf's, or ex's
Talk about your family
Talk about the gig you're performing in
Talk about the crowd

I find comedians funny when they are natural. It doesn't matter really what they are talking about but some have a knack of drawing you in. We have been listening to comedy radio lately...hilarious. One of my favorites it Demetri Martin. Very basic humor...I don't like a lot of cursing especially hate the f-word or the like. Good luck. Let me know how it goes! You should put something up on youtube...I'd watch you!

Talk about real life problems or situations in your life. You're sure to get some laughs there. When you talk about things that happen in everybody's life, you get laughs and responses like "That's true." Sometimes the ordinary things become popular.
