What do you think of Spring Awakening? Do you recommend me to go?

Question:I'm going to New York in march and though I've heard the soundtrack and know just a little about the plot I want to know what people who have seen Spring Awakening think of the show. Do you think is worth to spend the money on it or do you recommend me to spend the money on another show (different from the Phantom Of the Opera and Wicked, because I already have tickets)?

I think it's great. People have compared it to Rent, in that it's the edgy rock musical of this generation. I don't agree with that so much, but if you like Rent and Wicked, you'll probably like Spring Awakening. It's an amazing show with a really brilliant cast.

that's so funny i'm listening to the sound track right now lol . i've never seeen it but i listen to the music like 24/7 and i have a friend who saw it. she said it was amazing and she liked it even better than rent. the music is amazing and i want to see it really bad. but there's a lot of sex and nudity in it so i think it would be awkward with my mom and all. but i think you should go for it.
