Question:I am trying out for Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella in 40 days, at my local theater. The age range to the show is 9-13 and I am 13. I am a soprano/alto. I REALLY want to be Cinderella, the fairy god mother or a stepsister! For auditions I was wondering if the song For A moment from little mermaid 2 is good? Also can I have advice for on stage kissing and crying because if I am Cinderella I will have to do both!! Another thing for my audition is i am sooooo SCARED!!! I LOVE to act infront of people, but my part depends on this!!! THANK YOU SO SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!

You don't have to worry about the kissing the the crying just yet. If you get the role, your director will help you with that stuff. And you don't have to worry about being nervous. Everybody, even old pros, gets nervous at auditions. The people you'll be auditioning for probably have some acting experience themselves, so they know what you're feeling. They expect you to be nervous, and they expect you to rise above it and show them what you've got as a performer.
