Do you like the wizard of oz?

Question:the movie itself is just ok i think. but the wicked is supposed to be a great book and play. haven't looked into them yet. people say there is a deeper meaning to the wizard of oz.... idk.

its my favorite movie and judy garland is one of my idols!!! we did a wizard of oz play at my school and i was the lion and i ROCKED that role!!

Not as much as i LOVE Return To Oz!! I watched that all the time as a kid, it has Faruiza Balk in it lollll! Its better than the first one in my opinion :o)

yes and did you know that the characters represent US society from back in the day. cant remember exactly, but i think dorothy represents the people, the scarecrow represents agriculture, the tin man represents industry and i cant remember what the lion is...

ya i loved that movie. i also watched THE WIZ. which was lk the wizard of oz except not to sound racists but with only black plp in it. it was just as great though. had michael jackson in it when he was real young, he was the scarecrow. both good movies.

I watched it the other night, and added up the amount of times I've seen it...I think I counted 30...love it!!!

Yeah! I still like it now, and it was a big part of my childhood. If you really read into it, it makes some pretty interesting statements about society. And it inspired/altered so many works of art after it!
