Is everyday (from hsm2) a good song to do for an audition?

Question:I'm trying out for a play and was wondering if that was a good song to do because we have to sing 16 bars of music from a song.

If you're auditioning for a play, I wouldn't recommend it because it is a duet. Since it's a play, I recommend a song from a Broadway show. If your voice permits it Wicked has some wonderful songs. Les Miserables also has some good solos, but if you're more comfortable with Disney songs (though I don't recommend them) try maybe a more classic Disney like something from Lion King or Little Mermaid.

Nope. because people dont take on board those who want to be "disney stars". not saying you are, you seem really great its just that alot of kids just sing disney songs and get shutdown immediately. i'd go with something else. good luck

OH AND WHAT TIME IS IT IS THE WORST IDEA EVER. theres like 50 people singing that song....

I don't think it is, because there are 2 people singing. Unless you are doing a duet, it isn't a good song. A good won might be "what time is it".
