The music is better, and the cast a bit more mature.

Idk at first i didn't like HSM2 so much.
HSM1 got reallyyy old, i dont like watching it that much anymore.
I guess i think the 2nd one is a little better.

HSM2 was way better than HSM1 because better story and way better songs and Zac Efron looks way cuter.

You are watching HSM2 right now...I bet you are....it's on disney channel.....right the second..... And I will say that they are not my favorite movies. but HSM2 is better then HSM1...but like I said I wouldn't spend my whole night watching it again.

neither I watched one then two, purely of curiosuty and boredom. I hated both and hate the idea that they are doing a third. That some charaters wont even be played by the same people.

High School Musical 2. It is much more fun and has a better concept. It has a REAL storyline. There are really good twists and turns like when Ryan learns that Sharpay is evil or that Troy actually teamed up with Sharpay and Ryan was with Gabriella.
Where in High School Musical 1 it was way too predictable about what was going to happen. It was sort of boring since I knew what was going to happen.

I think high schol musical 1 is better but I like the song bet on it from high school musical 2. It's not bad.

well high school musical one had a much better story but high school musical 2 had more enegry and color i liked the 2nd one because i am energetic person and enjoyed the 2nd one more

I like High School Musical 1 better because it is more original HSM 2 is kind of reject like Grease 2.
