Auditions for kid nation 3?

Question:Would anyone know how to actract the people who watch the videos sent in by people for kid nation. sry if that was a little confusing. I mean how do you start it. because obviously the people who decide weather they are in or out only watch the very begining of the video.,...and they dont want skits. So what dhould I do! HELP PLEASE

I'm not really sure, because i've never made an audition tape, but my advice is BE YOURSELF. if you present yourself on video as something your not, and they like your video, and then call you down to interview you, but your nothing like your video. They probably won't choose you (does that make sense? lol)

Also try to make it new and fresh. They've probably watched 100's of boring videos and if you start out with "Hi, my name is ____ and i live in ____" they wont be too impressed.
