Any ideas for a One Act?

Question:I have to write a one-act for my theater class at school. (A one-act, in case you don't know, is like a skit from Saturday Night Live).

Any mundane activity is interesting if you have the right characters. Quirky, weird, overly happy/sad people are interesting to watch, so take a task and those characters and have them do it. Remember alittle background, a conflict and resolution.

If that doesn't work recreate another story you know, with different characters.

Sorry, Wrong Number and Finding The Sun are two of my favorites. There are odviously many more, but it just depends on what type of genre you are going for. I would start here first and then see what you can find after that.
