How can I become an actress???

Question:Ok Im 13 and have been told by so many that Im really good at acting. My friends tell me. My drama teacher, and of course my family. I have been to acting camp in santa cruz mountains and I have been in alot of school plays. Im in 8th grade and all the 8th graders vote to see who is most likley to.... or most....
and I wanted most likey to win a grammy award. and many voted for me . I will also be sighning up for acting classes at a theater down town where i live.

SO what do I do to start auditioning for commercilas and movies to start unfolding my career.
becoming an actress is my lifetime dream.....

am a casting director i use to ask the same question when i was 15 and now I'll tell you what i got told. well acting is not something you can learn or teach its something your born with and it sounds like you may be the next big thing. i think your starting at the right age. OK don't do what most actors and actresses do which is study acting in college and university. because we casting directors don't look for degrees all we look for is how you fit the roll and how can you act the roll. but do study BETC National Diploma In Acting in college to give you a idea of how to act and audition. But don't study acting in university because 95% of the actors and actresses out their today have no acting jobs and with a acting degree you cant get any good jobs. after college study something that will get you a good job just incase you dont get in the top 5% of the actors and actresses which are successful. Just to be on the safe side. remember you dont need a degree to become a actor or a actress all you need is confidence and good agent.

Well first get an agent (u already know that probably) I would recommend Stage 2000 thats mine hope it works out

well if your teachers and family say you are as good as you say they are then i think you should check out some auditioning-places.
First you should probably be aware of where you live and look up areas in your neighborhood where there are these auditioning room and sign up to do a few.
hiring a agent is something you might want to consider when you are older to help you with casting calls and such. also make sure you have recorded your school plays and just in general how you act around holidays or whatever..something that you probably will be asked when showing you resume when your older

At my acting school I get an agent. Earlier this year my agent rang me up to tell me I had an audition for a short film called "The Ogre". I auditioned and thankfully got in it!

Dont expect to get something in your first year though. Many people in my class have been in the acting school for 3 yrs and over and havent gotten anything. Remember though, they usually call people in because of their looks. Movies want people to look like something (fat, skinny, blonde, brunette etc). Goodluck in your acting career!!!

If dat is wat u wanna do den u gotta put yo heart into it! Go out 2 hollywood! Make a video of u acting and give it to a company in hollywood. Look up some directers in the phone book while u r in hollywood. call them up and ask them if u can audition. Im trying 2 get in da tv indistury 2. I want 2 be either an actor or a rapper. all u gotta do is put yo heart into it.
