Well, its not always about beauty, even though casting directors are getting shallow with their choices. You dont need to look like them tomake it, madonna lets face it shes isnt that pretty, but she made a name and career for herself!
YOu definetly need talent though, thats a ticket. YOu also need to be able to handle critisms, some directors hate you some love you.
Basically the formula is:::-

BEAUTY+ZERO=15 minutes

TALENT+SOMETHING ELSE SPECIAL=GOOD chances!

ALSO remeber to have self-confidnce and SELF RESPECT!!!
