I thought the movie was cute. Can't stand Zac Efron, although he did alright in the film. I suggest you buy the Original Broadway Cast recording of Hairspray. It'll do you some good to get some theatre in your life.

Well, it was OK. You should watch the original version though, it was amazing. It was a lot funnier. John Waters is a genius. If you compare the two versions, then the 2007 version just doesn't measure up.
And I can't stand Zac Efron. I can't stand any of the Disney stars. Most of them aren't that talented... But he was OK in this movie.
