How can I get into commercials?

Question:I am 13, and have no previous acting experience. I know I need an agent but I don't know how to get one. And I live in a small town about an hour an a half away from toronto. The only plays I can be in are at the town hall in lame little musicals, but I've never done it. Is there any way I could get an agent, then be in a commercial anytime soon?

Go to "Auditions.com" There just might be something in your town,city or whatever.

You don't have to live in cal. to be a performer. They do stuff EVERYWHERE!! :):):)

Also , every play you do you can put on a resume.My teacher did that for me today.So I can start auditioning for stuff.Making a resume and sending it to agents could also help...verry much!! BUT! Be careful who you send your info to!!! Make sure there legit!!

So you want to walk before you can run. There are no small parts only small actors. No commercial casting would even look at you until you can show you have some experience on stage in lame little shows. What makes you think the world is waiting for you to appear. Get real, get in there and start learning the trade.
