Audtition tips!?

Question:I'm auditioning for beauty and the beast at the pennsylvania youth theatre and i was wondering if anyone has any tips on how to land roles and just stand out?
its my first audition.

Is Rachel trying to bore the directors? Acting is not being yourself; it is being other people. Here is how you stand out: Prepare well. Keep saying over and over to yourself, "Acting is playing and playing is fun. When I audition, I am going to have fun." Then when you are called upon to audition, sing, or act or whatever, take the stage eagerly with energy, loving the moment that you are going to have fun. If you get to introduce yourself or your song, say "I love it up here!" before or during the introduction. Smile all the time and do everything with energy. Have a great time and you will stand out for sure.

The only tip i can give you is to be yourself. If you are right for the role then you will get it!

Be REALLY big!
Even dance along with the song if you have to!
One time I had an audition, and I can't sing, but I got a part because I was dancing along with the song and showed a good stage presense and a lot of people who sang well but stood around didn't get a part.
