I saw it last year. The show is hilarious! Here's my review from when I saw it:

What a fun show! Very inventive and creative. Can you spell S-I-L-L-Y? Who'd of thunk that a spelling bee could be so entertaining? The actors were great, the show is a riot, and it's just one laugh after another. Especially when they bring people up from the audience to be guest spellers. Get a load of this: Of the 4 people they brought up from the audience, one was a little kid. From my seat waaaaaaaay up top, he looked to be about 10 years old. Anyway, he was the last one left up there and they gave him a pretty hard word. AND HE SPELLED IT RIGHT!!!! Panch was like "Oh, my gosh. He got it right!" He and Rona Lisa started laughing and the audience quickly caught on that the kid wasn't supposed to have gotten the word right. We all started cheering. It took them a moment, but they got the kid up again and gave him a super long, hard word. He immediately started to spell it wrong and they cut him off. It was sooooooo funny!!!!!!

There were a couple of problems with the sound and a couple of things were lost to those of us in the nose bleed section. I could tell that this is a show better played in a smaller house. It loses a little when it's in a large touring house. But still, it was a great time had by all.

I saw the show a couple of months ago and enjoyed it very much. They also had 4 audience members on stage participating in the Spelling Bee and the same thing happened with the last person -- gave her a very hard word, she spelled it correctly, everyone acted surprised, the audience cheered, they gave her another word and immediately cut her off when she spelled it wrong!

I had the added experience of sitting in the front row, right in front of the microphone where the contestants stood to spell their words. One of the actors had a very. . . . uh, shall we say "juicy" mouths and when he spoke, I could see the saliva spurt out of his mouth. I needed an umbrella!!!! I was glad I had gotten my flu shot, because about 10 days later I had flu-like symptoms for about 24 hours!!
