The name of that song from Rent is "Seasons of Love" but it is quite a different genre from The Wizard of Oz. Although you don't want to pick a Dorothy song you should probably sing a song from a similar period and type of character. Maybe a song from Meet Me In Saint Louis - Judy Garland was in that as well. Good Morning from Singin' In The Rain or Moon River from Breakfast at Tiffany's would also make good audition pieces.

Good luck.

sing and opera song if its very high or take some voice lessons like sing until your voice perfects itself

I have no idea!! [[sorry]]

Stairway to Heaven

sing a frank sinatra song. sing it well too.

sublime - what I got . . . .great song

You could sing the Rent song at a lower pitch. The 525,600 minutes song.

Find a song you really get into singing you want to be so comfortable theres one in that head just do it and be confident .. bcs you owe yourself that much break a leg !!

Im about the same age and my advice is look at the song "Who will Buy" from Oliver. I sang it for an audition last year and got a lead. I sang it in a higher key because i am a soprano 1 but it sounds amazing in an alto. Good Luck!

sing whatever song that you really feel when you are singing it. you want the listeners to feel it as well so they will pick you.
