Question:Preferablt Near T.O or just est of there. I really would love to get and agent but do not want to be scammed. Any suggestions?

Your best bet is to seek an agent who is listed on ACTRA's website and who has an affiliation with a recognized ethical organization. You will find all the info you need at the following site:

Like anything else, you'll have to put in some time and effort and do a little scouting. Another approach is to join a reputable acting school in your area and obtain feedback from the teachers and students attending the school. You can then see if they are on ACTRA's site and whether the way they conduct themselves is consistent with that of a bona fide acting agency.

well i live in the us and have started my career with 2 commercials and all i have to say is the people that come to you at random time like movies and mall mostly and when you go all they want is money yeah dont get those agents they end up getting alot of your salery
