Cover letter help?

Question:On my acting cover letter, should it be from me, or from one of my parents. Ex:
Attn. Ms Agent
Enclosed you will find my resume. Hope to hear from you soon.
Cam Thomas
or
Attn. Ms Agent
Enclosed you will find my daughters resume.....

My parents are involved 100% and I have heard agencies rather have the cover letter fom the parent. However, I have also been told that agencies like kids that show initative by making the letter from them. What do you suggest?
