Yes Lion King tickets are very often available at TKTS. The thing with TKTS is that you can only buy the tickets the day of the performance and they only accept cash.

TKTS is cheap because they sell same day tickets. The lines in Times Square are often really long, so try the branch at South St Seaport and you won't have to wait as long....
