If you do go check him out let him know that even in Australia people are aware of what a scam he is running. NYC is an amazing city with a lot of opportunity as well as a lot of people who want to take advantage of those people looking for opportunities. In fact every city has those people but NY and LA are brimming with them because they are also brimming with the people chasing their dreams. Just remember the rule of thumb that if an agency insists you take classes with them then they are running a school and not an agency.

I hear people on here all the time saying that John Casablanca's, John Robert Powers etc holds auditions so it must be legit. That is wrong. That is how these companies suck you in. Young people think oh they chose me so I must be special. But the reason you were chosen is you appear most likely to pay.

While you are in NY pick up a copy of The Ross Reports and take a peek at who the real agents are. Get copies of Back Stage magazine and follow the auditions that are being held. Immerse yourself in the "real" scene and you will have an incredible experience.

Before you do ANYTHING make sure you know everything about the agency, many claim that JRP is a scam agency so careful. After that be prepared for them (if you are going) and know what you are going to do (eg/ what you will perform, clothes ect//)
If that agency isnt good, look at the newspapers, drama related magazines for agencies with a good reputation instead.
