Actually that's the casting director.

That's their job, they sit off camera and run the audition (direct it and they feed the lines to the auditioning actor).

On the set the director or one of the actors or the script supervisor would do that.

What you need to do is basically just stand or sit somewhere and run a video camera on a tripod and talk to the camera.

Give them you full name, age, if you took drama in school mention how long and if you were in any plays and what roles you had.

What they are going to look for is hems and haws, flubs, if you do a flub either make it a good one or shoot it again.

They want to see you can look at the camera and treat it as if it were them in person, maybe see what your hands and head does while you talk, your eyes.

They listen to your voice, look at your face, see what body language you project and see if you have character.

The best way to do this is naturally.

If you play and instrument and sing, you might give them a little but make it good. Again no flubs. Re-shoot it if you have to.

The whole trick is to show you have an understanding of what a professional act is.

Never apologize for anything. If you have to apologise you shouldn't be showing that in an audition. If your voice cracks, don't sing. If you can't do the splits, don't do them.

If you can play really good guitar, show off a bit, but make it good and approriate.

Do a lead line intro, walk down the bass as a vamp and start strumming, then sing.

Don't get fancy after that because you already made your point that you know how to intro a piece.

Don't blow strums, don't lose the beat and don't go off key.

If you can dance show them a little of that.

Show them you can straight leg above your head, do the splits, gracefully get back to your feet and take a bow.

If you can't do these things well, then don't.

You never go over your head.

Keep it short no more than 5 minutes tops unless you really have an act to show and I wouldn't go more than 8 minutes.

Acting is not about over acting but reacting to events and other people.

An audition is showing you in a natural state so they can see if you fit something they have in mind because that's what they are casting for.

You can edit out the flubs, just do it professionally.

Generally you should proably burn it to DVD

If you send an unsolicited (i.e., unrequested) audition tape (or CD or DVD) directly to anyone, odds are it will end-up in the trash bin, so, at the very least, make sure you make a copy for yourself. Also, expect to wait a LONG time for a reply, if any (if you enclose a self-addressed/stamped envelope to put your audition tape in after they view it so it can be returned to you, then you'll find out faster).

I have no idea who "Miley(s?)" is, and I don't click on Q&A links (except my own, of course), so I have no idea to what you're referring, but I can say this: If you are imitating someone else, then you are going to be shot-down almost immediately, because, although imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, you are showing that there is nothing special about you. You need to be yourself and original. It might also help to retain an agent, and, of course, get your parents' help.

Interesting video...
I dont think its a machine, its another person playing the character she is talkign to, get a friend or a relative to do that part!

Good Day !!
