Acting Agent !!?

Question:im almost 16 & i want to be an actress. If i get an agent one day in the future, will they be able to get me major auditions. like disney, or any big shows. Or will they probably give me minor auditions ?

It really depends on who your agent is and what area you live in. If you live in a larger city like New York or LA projects will be more available and you might be sent out more. But if you live in a smaller city don't count on being submitted for anything major. Those projects occasionally but rarely are shot in other cities then the metropolitan ones and agents won't waste their time submitting you for something in another city usually unless you are a big money earner.
Smaller cities might get projects but don't count on them being the "major" ones you refer to.

If you do live in ( or move to) one of the larger cities you want to hone your craft and make yourself very desirable to the top agencies. It is not worth your time or theirs to submit yourself to them sooner then that. But once you are ready and if you are lucky enough to have a few people that want to sign you chose carefully. Some agents just don't know how to find the big projects or have so many clients the newer ones get lost in the shuffle. You need to be sure you find the perfect balance between someone who is busy enough to work hard for you and not so busy they don't push for you.

But remember acting is hard work like any other job and there are many, many steps you will need to take before you are ready to look for an agent.

I work at a studio I know for sure they get you puff gigs. When you get noticed they come to you so you a have to pay your dues work you way to auditions when you make it the real corp company agents come to you but don't get me wrong there in the business they want you to work so they can get there cut$$$$.

depends where you live. in LA and NYC there will be more than in smaller towns. google talent agencies in your area (hey i did it and i'm only 13 and i got in one for acting that is very very good)
