Depends on what you call young, all the cast members of HS musicial are over 18 and basically always were.

They often cast 22 year old girls with small chests to play 15 year old daughters in TV shows.

See there are strong work rules when you are under 18. 2 hours on set, 2 hours in studio school, lunch, two hours on set, 2 hours in studio school, home.

Now all those 18-20 year olds in HS musical you can work them 14 hours, 6 days a week.

Especially if they are under flat rate contract.

Next more than half the brat pack are kids of movie stars and studio execs.

So when Tony Roberts kid is up for a part in a show she automatically is represented by his CMA, APA, William Morris agent.

I can assure you at this point Vanessa and Zack didn't have those high power agents when they got signed. They may still not rate them.

Entry level has been and alwasy will be age 22-24. Typically when you graduate Northwestern with your BA in theater and you get a job on a Soap Opera because you're cute.

You're too young to realize that Angela Cartright was 8 when she started, Billy Mummy was 11, Sally Fields was 16, Patty Duke was 17, Annette Funicello was 12 and Mary Kate and Ashley were 6.

Natalie Wood has her first role at 10 in Miracle on 34th Street in 1936

Judy Garland started at 14 in the Wizard of Oz

Understand there were no work rules back then.

They could work Judy all day.

No idea what you're talking about. Classic talent in what field?

why, look at the latest golden globe nominees....there's denzel washington, daniel day-lewis, george clooney nominated....they're all in the late forties/early fifties. and jodie foster, julie christie also nominated....john travolta's still around...tom hanks still doing fine work.....how do you define "old" talent? as in robert redford old? (who is still around, btw)...michael caine is in his seventies and still in numerous films, so is al pacino and robert deniro.

annette bening, clint eastwood, morgan freeman, meryl streep, in my opinion, is at the peak of her acting career. dustin hoffman, jeremy irons, what more?

Audrey Hepburn. Jack Nicholson is getting pretty old. Robin Williams :/ Marilyn Manroe

Young as in like Miley Cyrus or Emily Osment or young as in Madison Pettis and Moises Aries

yeah it weird.and ya no wat els is creepy.the kids alway make out on screen its weird i had my first kiss at the age of 10.kids onscreen usully make out at the age of like 8 or something

It is you and evidently your choice of flics.
