What are the similarities and differences between greek + roman comeday and mode

Question:i know that a few things are that greek comedy demanded elaborate scenery and so on whereas modern comedy doesnt really something in that regard would help

I dont get some of the modern comedy ! unlike the Greek and Roman work which seems to be timeless the modern stuff is all about topical things such as what is happening hear and now and it will not stand the test of time !
