Question:I was a SAG member as a child and I suppose my mother stopped paying my dues. Is it now easier to get back in? Or do i have the same eligibility as anyone else who's never been a member?

You were supposed to formally retire and withdraw.

If you didn't you have to pay fines and back dues.

If you did you only need to pay for a re-install and current dues.

since you were a kid at the time they may cut you some slack if you didn't formally withdraw.

I could be wrong, but when I went on voluntary suspension when I was ill, I was told that all I had to do was pay my quarterly dues again and I would be an active memeber. Should be the same with you, do you know your member number? Kind of important. Then you can write to them or go to their web site and find out.
