What roles in Grease are speaking only?

Question:Highschools doing a musical, but I can't sing, but I really love acting. Auditions are tommorrow, and I can't find the list of speaking-only parts, so I'll know who I want to go out for. pleaseeeeee help!

Depends if you're doing the film or the original musical version.
In the FILM:
-Rizzo & Sandy are the soloists.
In the MUSICAL:
-Rizzo & Sandy & Jan & Marty all have solos.
Unfortunately, any part you go for will have to sing because there is LOADS of chorus numbers (see "Summer Nights", "We Go Together" etc.) in the show...

i'm pretty sure none of the teachers sing. i don't even think Rizzo does much singing!

Musicals typically have few non-singing parts, so I would suggest you just really concentrate on preparing and doing your best. It really isn't up to you if you get cast or not in then end so don't worry about that and be confident and you will do fine.

Rizzo and Sandy and Frenchie all sing a lot, but the other two pink ladies and the girl who runs for president of student council only don't have any solos
