My techniques are:

~Read it through aloud and then grab a piece of paper and cover all but the first line and repeat that line over and over until you have it down then move the paper down to expose just the first two lines and again repeat until you have both of the lines down and continue this until you have covered all of the lines. This works amazingly well.

~ Write out all of your lines over and over until you think you can't write it anymore and then write it some more.

~Speak your lines aloud as often as you can. When you are getting dressed in the morning, when you are falling asleep at night, anytime and anywhere you can.

~Ask friends and family to cue you once you feel comfortable enough with your lines.

The secret to memorization is to tap into all of your senses that you can. By writing, hearing, speaking etc you are helping to make an imprint in your memory. If you do all of this you will be surprised how easy it is to memorize them.

Good luck!

-Record your voice saying it and listen to it MANY times.
-Just read each like over and over again until your so tired of reading it you can recite the entire monologe or soliloquoy.

Retype it on your PC over and over until you get it. But the most important part is you really have to be into what you are reading. I mean really into it like you are in that scene at this moment. You cannot think about anything else like how am I going to memorize all of this, this is boring, and much more. It's really all about repetitious. Best of luck to you!

Here is a method I use that works very well for me. Try it: http://www.actingcareerstartup.com/memor...

Read a new sentence every morning after you wake up, and every night before you go to bed.
You start off reading what you've read before, and then add on a new sentence.
Do this NOW until you have to recite it...
Good luck!

oh, and by the way,
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
