Mayzie is obsessed with herself. That's all she thinks about, talks about, and sings about. (Mostly.) She lives for the moment, and can be very manipulative. She'll say or do whatever it takes to get what she wants. She's basically in the story to give Gertrude a confidence boost and to get the egg to Horton. She's very glamorous, and she lets everyone she talks to know how beautiful she believes herself to be. She flies off whenever she feels like it, and she doesn't work. What do you need to know? Mayzie has one of the best songs in the show (not to mention I think shes the best character!)

Mayzie is in one word...AMAZING. When playing her, find the attitude that works for you...
but she definately does have some serious spunk.
She talks about herself being amazing
leaves her baby with some stranger while she goes off on vaca.
she just loves fun, and hates to be tied down. have fun with her!

The bird is a cocky, partying, irresponsible, diva. So think London Tipton, from the Suite Life of Zack and Cody. Just make her fun loving, and for the most part ignorant of what goes on around her.
