Are you reading your speech? If you are then get your friends and family to sit in the livingroom and give your speech to them. Don't look at the people, look just above their heads. Look up from the paper every other sentence.
Practice in front of a body length mirror before you go to bed tonight. While in your bed, before you fall asleep, with your eyes closed, picture yourself giving your speech, without making any mistakes. This is called positive thinking. If you can picture doing it, then it can be done.
That is the best advice I can give you.

Maybe join toastmasters?
It helped someone I know.

Picture the audience naked.

Pretend everyone in the audience is in their underwear.

look over their heads at the back wall, don't pay any attention to them

dont be nervous. pretty much nothing can go wrong. dont think about other peoples thought and do what you have to do at your best. theres no reason to be scared if your trying to do your best.

Just forget the audeience is there, just tune them out.

pretend no-one else is there and it's just u

bummer.

just read slow and dont screw up bc i always try to go fast and it DOESNT ever work.

hope you do good!

Some famous actor once said he/she beat stagefright by imagining all the audience to be in their underwear! Try it.

just practice and be confident .
and focus before you go on stage.
if your focused enough, you'll
forget anyone is even watching.

good luck. :)

just thnk of ur project and NOTHING else.
remember all of your lines and practice real well.
if its in front of a class (i no it makes you nervous)
but try not to stutter
keep eye contact!!
and dont pause of fidge with ur hands feet ect...
i used to be like dat, but i over came it!!! xD

ok i have had this problem before and i know how it feels the best way to get over this is to perform the show in front of family members and get used to how it feels when you go in front of the class room dont concentrate on them you will do good trust me hope i helped

well take an advice from me i used to be very frightened of bein the spot where all people looking at n focusing with so the best thing to overcome panic on stage is to practice n imagine ur self infront of these people n practice very well what ur goin to say visualize ur self doin ur part before actually doing it blv me it's very effective try to imagine every possible thing when u r doing ur role n stand in ur room infront ur mirror n act ur role as if ur actually doin it

You should stare only in one like the wall and dont look at the people or imagine everyone naked : ]

act like youre just having fun at home or with your friends.
forget this is a unusual thing at all, act like you do it all the time.

but dont panic if you mess up! just laugh a little at yourself and say sorry and correct yourself. SMILE

Well, I never have been afraid to get in front of people, but my friends have: I told them to just think about the audience-------nobody really cares, and they are probably in the same boat you are in. You won't mess up, and in the slightest possibility that you do, laugh at yourself---I've done t on stage many a time. the crowds love it.

lol, I completely know how you feel.
it is difficult to overcome this fear. but it is possible
just make sure you know what you are going to say.
practice practice practice
try speaking in front of your friends or family.
just take deep breaths and don't let your mind get jumbled
if you have to take a moment to regain yourself do so. just take a deep breath and focus.

make sure to try and make eye contact with the audience, don't say ummmmmmmmm, and just do the best you can. a lot of people are afraid to speak in front of people, me included. just remember to practice on a small audience, and you will do just fine.

Public speaking is the #1 fear of people everywhere,so you are not alone.Try picturing everyone naked.Sounds stupid I know, but they say it works.Focus on one person that you know when you speak. If you are prepared with your show and you know what you are doing, you will impress everyone, and that will build your confidence.Try relaxation exercises, breathing, yoga, etc.prior to your appearance.Good Luck.

Well i used to be scared to death to go up on stage
and i am in the school band so i kinda got to do it alot
what i did is make sure you know what you want to say and do. be confident get up there your classmates would/probably be as nervous as you are, so if you have to say something memorize it and just relax don't let anyone know you are nervous
you will do GREAT!!!!

Practice what you are going to say over and over out loud in front of a mirror. Feel confident you know what you are going to say. If looking at the audience makes you nervous, just look slightly above them without making eye contact. It looks like you are looking at people. If there is someone in the audience that makes you comfortable, then look at them occasionally for moral support. Now, just go out there like you own the world, you will do great.

I have been acting for a while now and still get stage fright right before a show...what i do is look at one person the whole time....but i make sure i know this person...

Know that stagefright is one of the most common fear of us all. Read your notes and practice in front of a mirror, and try
to RELAX, your not alone in this, and if you do make a mistake or two don't worry, it wont be the end of the world
and everyone will understand.

The way I overcome stage fright is by saying my lines in front of a mirror. It really helps me. And Thanks for answering my question.

Look at just a specific one in the middle of the room, and just look there, it looks like your looking at them all but yeah, ur not, so it helps trust me.

You will be able to solve your stage fright by visualizing were you want to be like if you were performing in front of your parents just like me I was scared when i had to sing in front of lots of people.

someone told me before picture the audience naked..but it didnt work.....i had the same situation before.....but u know wot i tried as much to look good so i felt confident and good, try making ur hair look nice, wear somthing nice....its all about confidence beleive me.....good luck isa

pick out one person and talk to him or her you eill find this stage fright will soon leave

How I overcame stage fright was that I was in a play. You probably can't do that by tomorrow, but just don't focus on the people!

Let me tell you..are a rock star I have had my share of stage fright, especially when I thought I was playing at a country bar,and it turned out to be a KKK Rally.

Get all your lines down..being prepared will cut a lot of the stage fright because when you know that you know what your saying and you understand that you are the best and the greatest speaker person there then it will be easier.

Dont compare yourself to anyone that you think is doing a better job then you. Thats one thing that will get you, seeing someone fly through there stuff..just know that they were more then likely scared poopless as well, but they just did it.

Dont worry about messing up, if your prepared, you may still have a miss, but just keep going, when you get the ball rolling, just let it roll and youll be fine.

Dont pay attention to individual people in the audience, cause theres always a butt head that will give you a mean look. Look at the whole audience, tell yourself, im the greatest most badazz speaker of the house...star talking and dont stop till your done.

That's all Ive got. Hope it helps

try singing in a group with you trying to be upfront i came over my stage fright by doing that i went to autumn care today and i song in front of old people for Christmas i started crying because of that
