Question:Do you mean an agent representing actors? If so no there is not a specific program offered for that but I would suggest majoring in film with a minor in business or vice versa. These programs will offer some courses that may be specific to your career goals but most likely won't offer an entire program in it. And one of the best things you will be able to do for yourself is get an internship working with an agent you admire while you are still in school. Not only will you learn invaluable information by working right with them but you also may obtain some great connections or even possibly a job offer if you do a fantastic job while interning there. Many jobs in the entertainment industry are more about experience then education. However education is a necessary tool to truly get considered for career advancement.

Agents are license employment agencies and part of the requirements is you generally work as a sub-agent under a license agent for a period of years before you can apply for your own license.

Also you have to apply for a bond.
