I need some good insight on how to light a stage for the play "Westside Sto

Question:To all of my fellow techies!!!!Where should I place my scopes and what size should I use for my basic lighting? How would I make one light look like 2? Where do i get "rose red" Gels and how would I make 160 cues out of 96 lights? I need basically all the information you can give me!!!!! Thanks so much!

Remember to have a back light, a key light, and a fill light.... and don't be afraid to use spot lights and filters. I would have moving lights to build excitement in certain scenes.

Go to the phone book and call the nearest theatrical tech's union. All you need to know is one phone call away!
