Question:I'm going to be moving to LA for business in January and I'll be living there for the next year or so. My little sister (21 yrs. old) will be living with me. She's an aspiring actress. I have no plans to buy her car. So, where's the best part of town for us to live so that she can be close to auditions?

Move to Burbank. Burbank is home to many of the movie studios, and besides, Burbank is unlike LA in a sense that it actually has a real town feel to it. LA is nothing but a bunch of poseurs and parasites. A conversation with depth, is like finding a needle in a haystack.

A car is manditory

LA has lousey public transporation and evey louseier cab service.

If you get a call it could be 40 miles away and that would be a $90 one way cab fare

anyone who lives in LA will tell you without a car you are dead

You won't even be able to get to traditional jobs without a car
