Question:Why would Lady Macbeth appear stronger (manly) than Macbeth? Lost of reasons Please. This is from Shakespears story, MACBETH (CURSED PLAY)

1) Since women are generally portrayed (or at least were then) as being especially soft, malleable, and weak, any strong woman would seem twice as powerful when compared against those around her/other characters written in that era.

2) In a similar vein, it's expected that women are generally less warlike than men. When she starts in on all these strong, bold actions, it goes against the ideals of womanhood we cherish.

3) She was probably PMS-y. Not to encourage the stereotypes of anything. :-p

Because she thinks things thru more while Macbeth just acts on how he feels. Basically girls are more well put together and use there brain while guys just act on the emotion.
