How would you rate Will Smith when it comes to acting?

Question:well about 3 years ago i wouldve rated him a PTH(that thing you do with your tounge to make it sound like a fart. lol.) but now with his movies like i-robot, pursuit of happiness, and i am legend, i really think he's starting to expand as an actor and i actually hope and look forward to seeing him in more movies. just as long as he's not a bad a** cop like he used to be all the time. lol.
