As you said, you're taking theatre, but also:

If you're school has a film program (like mine) take the course. Not many schools have it, but if it is available, I'd take it instead of theatre.

Literature is CRUCIAL! Get As in literature and take honors and AP courses...it will help, I promise you.

If there is a buisiness or debate course...take it. Debate is a lot like acting and producers need to know what it is like. Producers are business men...take a buisiness course.

Write for the school newspaper

Do photography on the side...and if you don't have a camera...look for what would look good.

MATH MATH MATH! I cannot stress the importance of math.

Get P.E. over with this year...it will help in the long run so you don't have to do it again.

Take an art class. If you need me to tell you why, you're not thinking like a producer would.

If you are required to take a foreign language, take French, Spanish, Latin, etc... Something classic and traditional. Believe me...it will be easier when you don't have to memorize 500 chinese characters in a week.

If you go to a religious school...take a cultural religion class.

I'd say do as much as you can that relates to ANY aspect of theatre/film. That way whenever you make a movie, you are able to relate and understand all aspects of the job you are designating others to do and so forth. Here's some class suggestions that I have:

1. Theatre Production: Most high schools don't have it but if it does, take it! It's my favorite class (I'm a techie)! If it is not offered try teching for a few shows so that you get the feel for how difficult it is to build everything, what materials are usable if budget's an issue etc. Sorry if this is the one you're already taking, at my school Theatre/Drama are one class, and then there's Theatre Production.

2. Creative Writing: At my high school it counts for Senior English if you don't want to take English 7-8. It's a lot of fun, and in the class at my school we had to write, direct, and edit our own screenplay.

3. TV Productions: This gives you the feel of what a studio is like, and allows you to work with some high tech equipment.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head. If I think of any other's before this question is closed I'll edit it and add to it.
