Position:Home>Theater & Acting> Talent Agents for Thirteen Year Olds?

Question:My thirteen year old daugher is interested in acting or modeling.
She is very beautiful, and I'm not just saying this because she is my daughter. She has dark brown curly long hair and amazing green-blue eyes. Although she is thirteen, she looks about twelve. She likes to act in little plays she does with her cousins. I took her a few months ago to this place where they suggested she takes classes; {and the people there where very pushy and rude about her taking the classes - first of all, it was extremely expensive and a two hour drive from where we live.}
I don't know how to get her started, though my other daughter was also an actress at a young age.

Do you know any good talent agents in Los Angeles, California? If you do, please tell me their name and phone number, if you know it.

Thank-you.

I advise her to get experience first.
Let her do school plays or at a community theatre. Have her take acting classes too. So what I’m saying is she has to get lots of experience. Then you have to get her a good headshot which is like $250+.

You can visit maine.craiglist.org and pick the state(or country) that your in and there should be a list of acting jobs you can do

Know that your daughter will need you 7/24/365.

As for talent agencies, dont send anything to the big agencies in LA yet. work your way up.Look up talent agencies in your area and start from there. Gain more experience and then look into sending things to big agencies. Hope that helped.

take classes first, be pretty has nothin to do with the buisiness, i just signed a contract this month after working all year for it, im thirteen to and signing with somone at this age isent common. but by her dscription u should get her into modeling, i do that to its a bit more promiseing
