Do your own interpretation. Find your own character, that's always the most impressive.

remember the auditions start right when you walk through the doors. its your time to shine, show the director how valuable you are. dress nicely, but comfortably as for how you should act think about what the character is saying and why he is saying it what type of person is he and what is going on the the plot, setting and story of the play.

Well I am in a show and my character that I play has to run out on the stage freaking out all happy and peppy, screaming hooping and hollering.

Because everyone in the cast is so close we all stand in the dressing room and start jumping up and down and giggling, getting our energy up. Then I guess you could saw I take all that energy with me and run out on stage all peppy. It helps alot.

I would suggest if you are trying to be energetic to just get your self really wired up.

Also when audition make sure you articulate, pronounciate and talk fairly slowly. Although you will be very excited and nervous just try to stay chill and DONT RUSH.

Good luck!

You have to find your own voice for the character... one that works for you and the director. Ask the director what kind of person they are looking for in Ali.
