Usually the director will ask you to read for a part that is in that particular play. So you don't really need to have anything memorized. But to be safe and since it's on Monday try to memorize something in a play book. Go to your local library and ask for books on plays and pick one that you think you can do. But the best way is to pick something near the type of play your auditioning for. Break a leg kid! Go for it! Have fun!

lol i would sing something like Annie or something from Chicago. just ask your teacher what they think you should do to be prepared! :) good luck!

I'm trying out for my highschool play on Monday too! Did the director tell you what you had to do? Is it a musical? Find a song you already know and use that for your musical piece. Make sure to provide the music too (sheet music if there's a piano player). I suppose you could memorize a short monologue too, say, five sentences. It's too bad you can't get any information about what you have to do. Good luck! I'll be thinking about you. Email me if you want, if you have anymore questions I could maybe answer. I'd like to know how it goes for you!
