Position:Home>Theater & Acting> Group Broadway songs for a Competition?

Question:I'm looking for a song for around 2-3 guy voices and 4-5 girl voices.
Preferably an easy-ish song, but a lot of fun and up-beat.
Any sugestions?
Thanks!

Check out "Pandemonium", from the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.

There's 7 soloists, and while in the original show those are 4 guys and 3 girls, they can be split up to be for any gender of performer. I just used this as a final project for my musical theatre class, and it was a blast. It's fun, upbeat, and there are so many bizarre character choices you can make.

No one mourns the wicked.

One from A Chorus Line.

Grease Lightnin' and other songs from Grease
Also look at Hairspray

Look at "A Chorus Line" lots of well known songs in there.

Sit Down your rockin' the boat From Guys and Dolls
OR
Prepare ye the way of the Lord
Godspell

Seasons of Love from Rent.

Look at plays: Rent, Wicked, and Godspell. They have lots of big numbers.
