To an extent, yes. The thing with Johnny is that he is an artist. He doesn't act for the fame. he doesn't do the stereotypical run of the mill roles. He wants to take a risk. he wants to be different. He would rather be an artist than a personality. Now that he has kids it's also a form of protection for them. No kid should have to grow up under that type of scrutinty. he's an intellectual. He's extroverted enough to make a point and then runs back to his mind.

Maybe, or maybe he just wants a private life for himself and his family, and to keep his children safe. He doesn't seem to buy into that Hollywood 'superstar' lifestyle and all credit to him for that. I think he is one of the finest actors around.
