Position:Home>Theater & Acting> Is this headshot at too much of an angle?

Question:I really want to use this picture for headshots for film/television acting resumes. Someone told me it was at too much of an angle, but I don't think it is, and I really like it. What do you think? List your source if you can, qualified people in the biz only please.

It's not that it's too much at an angle but it looks more like something you'd use in a modeling portfolio rather than acting. A headshot should only be your head. But you can still use it because as long as the agent can see your entire face it should be okay. Btw Nice photo.

Yah I agree it looks more model -esque than an acting headshot. But no, I think the angle if fine :)

the angle is fine, but for acting you need a shot of just your face, there is too much space around you... black and white is always good too (looks professinal)

I like the picture, but I see what you mean. I think if you really like it, and it is really pretty, that you could rotate it to make it less angled or perhaps not angled at all, and then crop it.
