Question:Sometimes, though rarely done, a character in a movie looks back at the camera in a way so that it looks like he/she/it is looking back at the audience. My brother said he learned the word in his English class, but forgot. Anybody know?

It's usually called "breaking the fourth wall". When it's done on camera, I personally like to call it "mugging to the camera", but I don't think that's the technical term for it, hahah.

But yeah, I'd go with "breaking the fourth wall".

Here we call it "Breaking the Fourth Wall"....
