Should I audition for Footloose?

Question:My high school is producing Footloose next semester but auditions are tomorrow. I don't know if i should audition because I don't think I can fit in any of the parts. I'm a guy, 5'2 and asian. I can't seem to make up my mind if i should audition or not.

If you want to be in any other productions, putting your face out there will be very good. Hey, you could even get a part. You never know. If you like to act, you can never go wrong with going to any audition. In fact, go to every audition you can.

Go for it! It's an amazing play...and if your great, they won't care about what you look like....anyway, there are lots of parts. When I was in it there was a guy that looked just like how you described yourself, and he got a good role.
