Position:Home>Theater & Acting> Short films Versus Scene study?

Question:I'm in a catch 22 ...I've been submitting myself for about a month and a half for auditions...I've been progressing very well - I've done 9 short films last month and I'm signed on to be the lead in a featured length Indie film...I know I need the scene study to increase the development of my craft, but I love shooting movies and I want more shots for my reel...I've been working so hard trying to do the films and scene study - last weekend I slept a total of 6 hours total the whole weekend...I don't mind any of this emotionally ...but physically I don't know how much my body can take and I don't want the films coming out crappy because of my body not being itself due to fatigue....heres my question ... do you think I should slow down on the scene study or the films?

Do the scene study in your sleep.
Unless the character you're doing is a sleep deprived person, go to bed.

Slow down on the short films and focus on your feature length film.

If it's about money, you should keep doing what keeps you afloat, but also keeps you healthy and sane.

Slow down there, and focus on your indie.
