Costumes for MAYZIE in seussical the musical?

Question:I am MAYZIE in my school's production of seussical the musical. we have to supply our own costumes. i think i may know what i want to wear, but any ideas?

Mayzie should absolutely be flashy but the one thing you need to have is a fabulous tail. Possibly part of a boa that will double as your tail but it needs to look really great and you should be able to move well with it. You need to be someone Gertrude envies and thinks is just fabulous.

anything at all that is flashy. bright vibrant colors. don't be afraid to show your self off. you may also want to talk to gertrude so you can really contrast your costumes. mayzie is a great character and its a blast to play! have fun with making your costume!
