I went to the John Robert Powers audition. There were tons of people there. Basically what happens is that a woman comes and talks to everyone for about 15 minutes. Then you give a photo of yourself to an agent, and then you go into a room with about 5 other people and read from a commercial script in from of a camera. You must then call back the next day at a certain time that is provided on a card given to you to see if you got accepted or not. When I went I got accepted. I didn't end up going though. They were asking me to pay for classes that cost from $1,000-$10,000. I know it's.... insane! However, it's good that you had the sence to turn them down...good for you. They are a scam and they only want people's money. The agency I just recently got accepted to didn't make me pay a dime, they only take 10% comission off of ever film/commericial I book.
