She is a happy girl and very naive at times. Dress up and wear your hair in two braids, bring a stuffed pet Toto for good luck! Watch the Wizard of Oz and the Wiz and try to copy her stances, her voice, and the way she moves and her moods! Picture yourself talking to Auntie Em or the Scarecrow or crying out when you see the Witch when you do a line. Imagine the setting and "get lost" in the word, but not too lost (make eye contact). If your proud and happy and not shy you'll be great!

Put a pair of knikers on, pull 'em up real tight, and you will sound like Dorothy! Boy, that is some weird question!

it's best to watch the movie with Diana Ross. but in general Dorothy has a low self-esteem and she's shy but during the musical she finds self worth and the underlying courage that was in her all along. (lol almost like the Lion) she also worries alot about things.
