depends..
usually i go into castings with no accent.. unless the casting director asks for it.

Neither. Never, I mean, NEVER, do a dialect at an audition unless it is requested. That's what rehearsal and dialect coaches are for. Also, speak like yourself; project so you can be heard, but don't yell through your audition.

unless the director asks you to, i wouldn't worry about doing it. but, yes, you should be loud. always use projection. its better for themto ask you to quiet down than to speak up!!

Absolutely NO! The director needs to hear your voice. If he/she wants to hear you do an accent he/she will ask you to do it.
